As an aside, it has long been noted that tyrants generally dislike cats. Many of history’s famous tyrants and dictators hated cats. Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Genghis Khan, Napoleon Bonaparte, Benito Mussolini, and Adolph Hitler were all men that were cat haters.

So, no, those who do not worship at the cat altar are *not* closeted dictators and to imply such was quite a reckless, wanton thing to do, IMO.
Oddly enough, legend has Muhammad firmly as a cat person, to the extent he cut the sleeve off a garment rather than disturb his cat who was sleeping on it.
