Attention Southern Californians
Mmmm, there are many, MANY Dodger fans in other parts of the country. I was born and raised in CT, and am a Dodger fan. My big brother is also one (Don Drysdale did it for him). My dad was a NY Giants fan, and then switched to the Mets. As late as the late 70s, a Dodgers-Mets could bring as many Dodger fans to Shea as Mets fans.

I was born and raised in CT , too ( 1952 ) and was a Dodger fan from age 5 , when they were still in Brooklyn . I evan had a kid’s Dodger uniform that my Mom , from Long Island , bought for me . I think I became a Dodger fan through her . I know she hated the Yankess with a passion . I remember coming home from school and the Yankees-Pirates game 7 was on . We watched the final innings together and when Mazeroski hit the homer to win the series for Pittsburgh she hooped and hollered so strenuously that her false teeth fell out !
