I don't seem to ever recall Democrats turning on their own like several "Republicans" have recently.
I wonder how things would have turned out in the fight to defund, delay, alter ObamaCare if so-called Republicans would have listened to Reagan, when he underwent so many personal attacks during his 1966 campaign for governor, which led to the Eleventh Commandment: "Thou shatlt not speak ill of any Republican. Reagan said "It's a rule that I followed in that campaign and have ever since."
McCain and others seem to like to evoke Reagan, but don't appear to follow what he said.
In my humble opinion, there is no doubt that if Republicans would have stuck together and not attacked others that the push to make all members of Congress have to sign up for ObamaCare (supported by over 80% of Americans) would have been driven through, along with ending the medical device tax, which had bipartisan support, and which Reid himself called a "stupid tax."
McCain is a "maverick" remember? When will he "maverick" the Democratic Party and ride out on a constant basis against them?
If some elected GOPers have a problem with Tea Partiers, then fine, but take it out with them in private. This constant airing out in public means that a once-and-for-all super-primarying of public anti-Tea Party agitators may end up being necessary to send a message that if you have a problem, stick to Reagan's Rule, and air out problems in private, otherwise you get primaried for that alone.
This giving of ammo to the LMSM by certain people in the GOP has got to stop.
Never. They might disinvite him, his rich wife and his fatso daughter to the cocktail parties.
A bunch of prostitutes way past their shelf life!
