I get bored very quickly by single player games. There is only so much satisfaction to be had when you defeat the computer. When you know there is another person raging and fuming at the other end when you pull off a win -- now that's fun!

It is limited, I admit. Around the turn of the century I was hooked on Aces high (I think that was the name). I did way too many all nighters in WWII planes taking on guys all over the world. It was simply too adictive. I got rid of the joystick. I still miss it, though.

But this offers a hint at why I don’t plan on ever buying a game unit, unless I become bed-ridden.
