Thanks for the link. The info listed at this link for my town is currently accurate as of today.
Only certain pumps at the stations are marked “real gas”, generally are the 89 octane hoses, and about 30-35+ cents/gallon more than 87 ethanol.
I have a pre-gas pump car that doesn't do well on ethanol gasoline. Tons of vapor lock problems. Running aviation fuel is probably not a good idea — too high of grade.
Too bad there isn't a way to remove the ethanol.
Mixing diesel seems to work okay but not great. Wish there was a better solution.
A noticeable difference in performance in my turbo car, too.
But hey, lots of demand for corn — the corn farmers are doing really well. /sarc
