EBT should only be for real food, like the old government commodities, should never be for fast food or junk food
Wow, I thought most democrats stop nursing at 10 or 15, but 21? What the heck do I know, though.
I don't patronize establishments that glorify or target thugs or gang bangers in their advertising so won't be trying their wings anyway.
The thinking now is EBT is a permanent way of life so we can't deny them anything the working class has. There is little work they can do anymore that a computerized machine can't do better, faster, cheaper.
I avoid McDonalds, generally, but will eat there as a last resort if I am traveling or unable to find the time to go to a sit down place.
If you get the fries fresh, they are pretty good, and the $1 soft serve ice cream cone is good.
But that is about it.
Did you ascertain the identity of the person spitting in the batter?
They sure don’t look like the genuine chicken wings that can be had in Buffalo.
I have seen a lot of advertizing of *Buffalo wings* and *Buffalo style wings* and have yet to actually have any resemble the real item.
Want real Buffalo wings? Get them in Buffalo.
Nonsense...you don't need to go to Hamburg, New York to get an original Hamburger...
My mom often makes similar comments about the price of wings. As a kid, we often had fried chicken wings for dinner. I always thought it was a treat. I didn’t realize it was also a way that mom could feed a family of seven for very little money. They were a “butcher’s cut”, cheap parts that you could get for next to nothing.
We also ate a lot of beef shanks (makes a good pot roast), another once cheap cut that’s gotten pricey.
I’m not a huge fan of most wing places. Usually there’s too much breading for my liking, and some of the sauces get kind of silly in their heat level, IMHO. What’s the point of eating a chicken wing if the Nuclear/Death Sauce if all that you can taste?
For me, the best hot wing is a perfect balance of crispy, salty, and tangy-hot. Seasoned flour for the coating, deep-fried until golden and crunchy, then tossed in a sauce made of melted butter and a splash or two of Frank’s hot sauce (I prefer the vinegary tang of those kind of pepper sauces to straight Tabasco).
Celery sticks and homemade bleu cheese dip on the side.
Best wings in Florida....Anthonys
Never had Anthonys but here on the west coast of Florida my all out best place for wings is Fat Daddys in Crystal river. They are big and simply yummy with all sorts of toppings I like mine dry and mild myself. Wed. is all you can eat. $12.95. I can do about 18 -20.
Nobody said Hamburgers originated in Hamburg.
Do you have any clue where Buffalo chicken wings originated?

Of couse I do....still doesn’t mean hundreds of other eating establishments can’t make great chicken wings...better than the orginal...

It’s actually a family Italian restaurant that’s been around since the 30’s. The place is still very nice, but the neighborhood has gone down around it. Think ‘hood’.
But they do have guards in the parking lot.
I sure haven’t found any better than the originals. Nor has any of my family.
I liked the crunch. I did not like the mystery meat aspect. It’s like they took a real chicken wing and stuffed it with Chicken McNugget meat to make it larger.
I won’t buy it again.
I like Big Macs.
I remember when they opened their first store in Los Angeles. I don’t really eat fast food but will go once every 6 month.
I didn’t like the Mighty Wings.
I have been making this receipt for the last few months. No deep frying. I precook the wings in the oven for 35 mins covered in foil to get a lot of the fat out of the skin before BBQ them. (the recipe doesn’t mention to do this but natural gas is a lot cheaper than LP and you don’t have to babysit them when they are in the oven)
Pretty darn good and less unhealthy than traditional wings.

I so rarely get fast food, but I have had the wings and liked them. BW3s is better though.
