My understanding is that at the checkpoint there would have been atleast a half dozen armed bp agents there and they would have walked around to her side and asked for her identification —
That said, this girl's story has seemed hinky from the get-go. She may not have known what he did, but I don't think she went unwillingly.
Yeah, that’s what I would assume also. Maybe if she was a small child one could get away with saying “Oh, my daughter is sleeping, please don’t wake her”, but I don’t think that would fly with a teenage passenger.
BP checkpoints usually don’t ask for id. They usually just ask your citizenship. If you say “U.S.” they wave you through.
