Might be a little more effective than banning curbside luggage check-in to thwart terrorists of a certain religious persuasion which cannot be named from boarding airlines with box cutters . . .
Agree that this must be satire. We had to destroy the village in order to save it. No way 495 would ever be shut down by the feds or any other government entity. Those of us who live in the DC metro area (I live inside the Beltway in VA) know this is a fabricated story.
