Thank you Nutmeg.

STL used the compensation pick they received for Albert Pujols signing with the LAA on a right hander from Texas A&M named Michael Wacha. He’s pitching the way he is just 17 months after he was drafted. WOW!!!

I can see Brandon Workman being a very solid starting pitcher next season; he seems to get it and take charge.

Franklin Morales/Matt Thornton: In any situation where the Sox need to get tough lefty out, I’d rather see Felix Doubront come into the game. I’d leave both of them off the WS roster.

Buchholtz: I’ve been thinking the same thing. He’s either still hurt, a headcase or a bit of both. And he IS hurt EVERY season. Should they win the WS, BOS will have a mountain of goodwill built up and trading Buchholtz will be an easier “sell” to the fanbase. Sell him high, just like they did with Inglesias.

Again, I agree with everything you've said in #522.

Felix Dubront is the obvious choice over the inferior Morales and Thornton. Definitely leave 'em both off the WS roster (and get rid of them in the off-season). I also think Brandon Workman holds promise.

Yep: Sell Buchholz high, after we hopefully win the WS. I would love to see the Red Sox pick up a solid, *consistent* starter like a Michael Wacha in his place.

I never knew you were such an excellent baseball analyst... ;-)

Hope you're feeling better, by the way...
