I got my last Red Sox hat from that store. :-)
Yes, and the man Erin Andrews interviewed - who was either Arthur or Henry DAngelo - not only founded that big Red Sox merchandise team store across from Fenway Park, the D'Angelo twins also founded the very successful worldwide sports apparel company: Forty Seven Brand.
More about their story here:
Arthur and Henry D'Angelo were twins... only one is alive today, I forget which is which.
Mr. D'Angelo is a fixture at Fenway, and at Jet Blue Park in Fort Myers, FL during spring training as well. He is *always* in the Boston and Ft. Myers team stores, talking to fans and answering questions.
And Erin Andrews said Mr. D'Angelo owned a lowly "convenience store with t-shirts and hats" across from Fenway. Bah! ;-)
