AMAZING story, mostly because it was true. My dad, if he were still alive today, would have been 104. He was around in those days and LOVED the Wednesday night fights, with announcer Johnny Atti.
NO ONE was allowed to disturb my dad during TWO programs: Wednesday night boxing and The Untouchables.
I can still hear that dramatic music of The Untouchables.
I remember one episode of The Untouchables about the infamous Barkers. The ENTIRE hour was gun fire. Amazing because that was probably true as well.
