Let’s go log some hardwoods!
Good, I won’t have to worry about their “controlled” burns wiping out my property.
This means all timber harvests, all campgrounds and I do not know yet, but may mean all USFS roads.
Per the timber harvests, this is clear breach of contract.
It also means that they are violating what they are supposed to do..which is manage those lands which are held IN TRUST for the public. 20% of Timber harvest proceeds are to be paid to local schools in place of taxes.
They are not a stupid to try and deny access to all the hunters are they in the mountain states and ones with lots of public land (we have almost 0 here in Texas). Most seasons are under way.
Smoket the Bear deemed ‘not essential’!
You do know that this will get ugly. BIG timber companies hold a lot of those contracts. And a lot of small ones as well. This will impact a large portion of the economy in some areas.
Take that land AWAY from the USFS and give it back to the counties.
Do you have a link to a source?
I wouldnt bet on that.
I hope the trees don’t stop growing.
Smokey the Bear still getting paid.
NO I was told to stay home from work and called Benishek and Gosars office and they both confirmed it. The word just came out a few minutes ago.
The USFS has a station near my house, it has been closed since the beginning.
SO now they will spend a mint on barrycades and thousands of armed guards?
That’s why we need to make it perfectly clear that Obama & allies are making it intentionally hard and heavy. He’s a spiteful brat.
Does this impact on you?
Getting paid for a vacation, which this is, is still a stone stuck in mt craw. House and Senate should not follow history and not pay furloughed workers. Sorry, I have friends there but this spending (as such) makes no sense. Thena again Nancy pelosi said they've already cut all that can be cut. Next thing they'll get interest on back wages. Crappy Congress.
“Lets go log some hardwoods!”
Boy I would love to..clear cut the Mother Effn whole works.
