He has not proved he can be trusted. Too much of a waffler/attempted-deal-maker that always blows up in his face. He believes too much what the Dems say instead of what they do (lie to your face to get you to agree to something, and then stab you in the back).

Look at their latest attempt: they say they will be willing to negotiate with the Repubs once a "clean" funding bill (contaning, of course, Obamacare funding and a rise in the debt ceiling). If the Repubs were stupid enough to go along with that, what would be left to negotiate?

No. He has not proved anything of the sort, so you are right.

We have nothing to lose when we support a man that is doing the right thing, no matter his past. We have everything to gain.

We NEED him, don’t you see? If a little support would help him, and I believe it would, it would benefit the entire country.

I still feel that Obama has some dirt on Boehner and he will eventually cave in the 11th hour. Obama has controlled Boehner time and time again.

How I feel right now has nothing to do about my feelings being hurt that he has failed us in the past. It has to do with what Obama has on people in Congress, in positions of power.

Do I hope that for once, Boehner will make and keep a stand? Yes...but not ready to give him “kudos” right now. I am in the watch and see mode right now. He has to earn my trust due to his past caving to Obama and the Dems.
