At the time, it was assumed the SCOTUS decision to allow the mandate saved Obamacare.

Overlooked to an extent was the SCOTUS decision that states had a choice NOT to expand Medicaid. That may end up dooming Obamacare. Those caught in the gap make too much to qualify for Medicaid but too little to afford the high costs of insurance as purchased privately or through the federal exchanges.

There is an ongoing full court press by liberal media against states that chose not to expand Medicaid. Basically they are singling out those states terming them against poor and blacks.

Yes, and I thought I read that the majority of states (35, 36?) had actually opted out.
