I know three different bikers, each one belonging to a different club. One of them belongs to the "Highwaymen" here in the metro Detroit area which at one time was a very violent club.

Just the other day I asked him about their reputation and he said those were the old days. Today's club members are older and responsible adults that do a lot of charity events. Over the years they eventually drove out the druggies and gangsters that gave the club a bad reputation and cleaned up their act.

He went on to say that there are rogue chapters scattered around the country but they are pretty much ostracized by the entire organization......
