LOL. Thanks for that flashback! We also use to wear our Gant shirts with the LONG tails out and smoke Marlboros & Kools. If you were cool.....

Wilson Pickett's voice dominates on the Falcons' recording of "I Found a Love," a tune done in the style of black gospel music. The group was backed by the Ohio Untouchables, a band that later became the Ohio Players. The tune was released on Lupine, a small Detroit label that featured some great songs by groups such as the Minor Chords, the Conquerors, and the Primettes, who would later be better-known after they changed their name to the Supremes.

Always wondered about that phone number. The Marvelettes had a hit with BEeechwood 4-5789...BE4-4589 is equivalent to 234-5789. Guess the last 5 digits of each number sing well...
