Boston columnist Howie Carr was talking about Crawford and Highway Patrol on his afternoon radio show some years ago. I remember him wondering if anyone else thought it strange that a program with 'highway' in its name seemed to take place on dirt roads?

The reason offered was Crawford had his license suspended or revoked for DUI/DWI so he was limited to operating a vehicle on private property.
