Can anybody out there explain the mindset of getting a dog and chaining it to a tree? What’s the point? Get a pet that you never interact with? My dogs have always been part of my family.
My cousin who often ended up with useless, abusive skinsacks sharing her bed was unaccountably brave when it came to abused animals. She’d report neighbors like this & get the pet seized. She recognised the cowardly worms as needing to feel power over another being, even if it was a loving creature that cringed & licked its abusers hands.
Too bad she wouldn’t spare herself or her son but *shrug* that’s the way that went.
