Only a guess, but I think airports, check out counters, etc., started to use CNN when it was a real news outlet, and considered to be unbiased. Maybe management has ignored CNN for so long they forgot it’s even on the screens.
BTW, how the TSA treating you? Any horror stories that the public needs to hear about?

Email the airport with a complaint. It is awe full, they can set it up so u can tune in on your phone. This forced news jousts adds to the stress in the airport, they would b esmarter to do an opt in or play Disney.
