My local paper, a complete liberal rag, gushing about people signing up for Obamacare. Of course they were at some local community outreach office because the WA state marketplace site was down all day.

Their poster child was a single mom with two kids. The one kid gets health coverage through that baby daddy. The mom and other child don't have coverage. She is a massage therapist and doula (hippy without medical training that helps DIY births), and she is starting a business as a raw chocolatier. Despite this diverse array of skills she only makes $20k a year.

Thank goodness Obamacare is here for her and her daughter. What this lady doesn't seem to know is that her daughter was eligible for free medical (the full monty with free dental and eye glasses) through the state CHIP program way before Obamacare and she is probably eligible for Medicaid as well.
