Always had Mopars, always will. Toyota has far more recalls (look it up).

Currently own a 2000 Chrysler Concorde (104k miles) and a 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T.

It never fails to boggle my mind that someone can put 8000(?) miles/year on an auto, and suggest that it is “sound,” mechanically. Heck, I put 250 miles on my car just by looking at it.

Good luck to you, and I mean that (not in a malicious way, that is).

Toyota’s recalls are usually minor and their cars do last with far less nickling/diming; although you do have to look at where the car came from to judge the quality in some instances. Just got rid of a 2001 Echo with over 265K miles; built in Japan.

And no, I do not like the idea of having to look for cars that are not American makes, just to worry about my wallet and to not worry about owning a piece of machinery that ends up “found on road, dead” and stranding me, so to speak.

BTW, both were built in Canada, not by the UAW.
