Watched the video at the link above. She was cooperating, when the female officer lifts her right foot, she loses her balance and that’s when the officer on the right puts her in an arm lock and takes her down.
She’ll win the lawsuit.
I saw it the way you did. I noticed she was all right when her left leg was lifted. That did not look like a kick when her right leg was lifted. It looked reflexive.
Whether she was drunk or not I can’t tell. She seemed composed, wasn’t stumbling and what I did her say on the videos was not slurred or incoherent.
There is no excuse for her being man-handled the way she was. It looks like the cops were just looking for any excuse to jump her, that it was pre-meditated.

And if I were on the jury and could influence it, she would win VERY, VERY BIG.
Bad cops (or Sheriff’s deputies) need to be purged from the ranks and made examples of. For every good cop (there was a thread today about a cop having a righteous shootout with a perp motorist who attacked him with a pistol) there seem to be five or six such as these despicable clowns.
