In times such as these, I find reading Stephen King novels therapeutic. As bad as things get at least I don’t have to fight off vampires and the walls aren’t bleeding.
I see your point. The devastation we face is grim indeed, but not THAT grim.
Just a word to the wise, though. If you find yourself wanting to delve into “Under The Dome”, go with the book. For heaven’s sake, steer clear of the TV adaptation, or you’ll hear tiny little screams as, one by one, your brain cells die.
