I remember my mom forcing me to watch "The King and I" with her. "How stupid", I thought. Then I actually enjoyed it because I thought Yul Bryner was a cool guy from his performance in Taras Bulba.

Then at some point in the show I noticed Deborah Kerr... and started getting this really weird feeling... kinda like I got when I was scoping out Miss Robertson, one of the guards at OKC Daniel Webster Junior Prison, only... different. World class different, even if it was just something on B&W TV.

The same thing happened not long after when I saw Peggy Fleming skate.

To this day I haven't figured it out. :)
