the reason i don't see it as a ten year war is because i think the EBT Nation would starve to death in the first year if not two... they have been handed everything their whole life that they didn't steal and once the EBT cards quit working the cities will turn feral and cannibal in no time, and once they move out of the cities and into the burbs/countryside, well, it's game on and they should expect no quarter because none will be given
if you haven't read any of FReeper Travis McGee's books, i highly recommend them
and as far as doing a deal, even if those outside the give away zone are for it, i'm sure the Southerners inside the zone will NEVER go for it... so there we are, back to CWII
