RUSH: We got a new kitten. We waited an appropriate amount of time. We went out and got a new kitten, a new Abyssinian, a tawny. And this little cat -- I'm going to have to send some pictures up to Koko over the weekend. This little cat -- Punkin was an adult cat as a kitten. It was the most amazing thing. This little kitten is a kid.

yes, why?
For some reason - who knows why - I figured you were a female. For years. I learn something new every day on FR.
Gorgeous, gorgeous little kitty you’ve got!
So sweet! Like a fluffy, lovable Darth Vader! ;-)
You bet!
I love cats. They are such sensuous creatures, so in balance with their own bodies. I find them fascinating. Their behavior is so interesting to watch. Just watching them clean themselves is even interesting.
If you look at the picture of the cat in the window, you can see how big is front paw is...he had seven toes on each foot, and when the vet fixed him, he removed the ones that were going to cause him problems.
Every once in a while, I see him sitting upright with his hind leg in the air, and he has the toes of his foot splayed as far as they could be, perfectly spread out in a little claw-edged fan that looked huge, even though he is a small cat.
That’s how he picks his toes, it is disgusting to hear, but interesting to watch.
Hahahahahaha...I like that! A fluffy, lovable Darth Vader...:)
I wish Rush still had that Apple laser printer that never worked quite right. I always thought that it was hilarious whenever he would open it up and then slam it back down in order to get his stuff to print!
Allie is adorable!! I love abys. And well bred Bengals have a LOT of Aby in them; is that why you mentioned that breed? We got our Bengal (long passed on) from the woman who began the breed. She is also passed on, I believe.
Interesting story about the Bengals. When we went to her huge lair out in Corona CA or somewhere out there, we passed by a huge enclosure with chain link fence high up and a caged “roof” too. That was for the huge male half Asian leopard cat who was too wild to be a pet who was used for breeding. One chain link about 6 feet high was filled with feathers. She spoke to the cat inside and said, “Oh, you caught another bird!” He caught a bird in flight outside the cage through the chain link, and pulled it in!! Amazing.
Rush, your kitten is pretty and funny and obviously super social! Enjoy her!
I sure hope you didn’t have your own biological kids. Because there are children to adopt! Many are abandoned with serious problems and need a home.
I did both. With animals and kids. We should be free to raise any kind of kids or pets as we choose. Breeds of dog and cat let you know whether the temperament will be a match. Also, maybe you like a certain look. It is ok to choose a purebred. It is ok to choose a kitten from a loving breeder with healthy animals as parents of your pet.
He is an awesome kitty!
If no one adopted from a breeder, they’d stop breeding those fancy cats.
Odd.
When I was growing up we had a mixed breed cat, sweetest animal to ever live. My dad would sit down read paper and he would just come and jump on the paper demanding my dad play with him.
Like!
Eh. That expensive kitty got nothin’ on my little rescue girl Kefira, a gorgeous tortie and white. But I wish him well with his new little love. May she bring him joy like the one he lost.
I connect with Rush on this 100%.
He looks like the King of his castle. Love my kittehs.
