Do you know what a tomato 'sucker' is ? Same concept !!.
Suckers are vegetative growth that really dont assist in fruit production , but draw energy away from fruiting .
Most times 'sucker' can be removed to increase fruit harvest both in terms of numbers , and earlier fruit maturity .

I’ve read the Truckers drive thru Washington DC is on and the organization which provides Overpass Signs and Flags are also participating. Thanks for alerting us, I’ve been watching the internet for information and it came from WND today.

as to suckers, yes I do thin them out as the season progresses.....I read somewhere not to be too aggressive doing this because the leaves still help gather in mother sun’s energy....
