I have indeed seen “Mission To Moscow”, so yes, I did get a sense of what was going on back then.

Still and all, Hitler didn’t have to declare war on the USA on 12/11/41, thus saving himself a lot of grief. But he did.

Because Hitler thought in return the Japs would help him fight the Russians.....The Japs weren't that stupid.

Save FDR a lot of grief. He was going to war with Germany regardless. Hitler saved him the hassle of convincing us to go along with it. (I think it was the right decision, but they gave too much help to the Soviets because of all the commie influence in the US government.)
