But you don’t understand - Jon Stewart is POPULAR. And that means something, doesn’t it? Even if he is totally unfunny to a non-liberal.
It is never necessary to be consistent or even particularly reliable, once you are identified as a genuine anti-Republican liberal, and you are allowed as much filthy speech as you can cram into a span of a few seconds.
