Colloidal silver has bacteria fighting properties so it's good for a sore throat. But you should only gargle with it or consume it in very small quantities for a very short period of time - like a few days. This guy was drinking it by the glassful daily for an extended period of time. I remember seeing him interviewed once. I used to use it years ago and never had a problem with it.

That's why they used to use silver baby cups and silver baby spoons in the 18th and 19th centuries. It kept baby from getting sick.
