My sister lived on the plains of Colorado and she witnessed an eagle take her cat, that seemed possible, this is unbelievable.
I had a golden eagle go after my dog, a 65 pound border collie. Fortunately, the sliding glass door was closed, and didn’t break when the eagle slammed into it. I have little doubt that the eagle could have killed my dog. Those talons are the stuff of nightmares.
