Oprah Winfrey suffered symptoms of a nervous breakdown last year while struggling to keep her OWN television network afloat while filming "The Butler," the media mogul revealed in an interview airing on Access Hollywood this week.
Winfrey, 59, said she came to the realization that she was nearing her breaking point while interviewing Jason Russell last October. Russell, who directed the short documentary "Kony 2012" and spearheaded a social movement to capture the Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony, suffered a nervous breakdown in March 2012 and was diagnosed with "brief reactive psychosis, an acute state brought on by extreme exhaustion, stress, and dehydration," according to CNN.

If there was ever a better example of the abject failure of the power of riches, “self-esteem”, human “progress”, etc to cure even a little of the power of sin! I perused, by chance, an online slideshow of this woman’s many properties, all absurdly lavish, and it just drove home how useless wealth is to the inner man. Can’t touch it or redeem it in any way, yet billions clamor for it!
I heard her and moochelle had a falling out, nothing can cause a breakdown like a supposed friend stabbing one inthe back right between the shoulder blades...

I doubt that story. Gerald Ford was an All-American athlete. If you are on TV 24hrs a day, it is not unlikely that you'll be caught stumbling at some point. Particularly if you are a Republican. If you are a Democrat, you could try to walk through locked doors, be stumped by the intricacies of passing an umbrella through a Gate, forget the number of States in the United States, pronounce Corpsmen and Corpse-men ... and those clips will never see the light of day.
I do not nor have ever watched or paid attention to this person.
She may have done some good with her fortune (of course we don’t want to admit where the vast majority of her fortune came from, lest we be labeled as Racist).
However, it seems every time a ‘problem’ arises, SHE has either ‘experienced’ it herself or is going through it.
I am really surprised she and BO are still in the ‘spotlight’ since they ‘blew’ Chicago’s shot at hosting the Olympics.
Same people that pass all these ‘rumors’ for OP and BO were hinting that several people in Chicago had been buying up land for a few years in anticipation of a great windfall ‘when the Olympics came to town’.
And what better Ambassadors could you hope for to carry your water, the self crowned ‘Queen of the Universe’ and/or the ‘King of the US’....?

Oprah is crazy I’ve come to realize over the years and only she can figure her real problem out.
One thing that shocks the hell out of me is her own revelation of sexual abuse by a family member when she was young.
Oprah has all the money in the world and none of it will buy her sanity.
I strongly suspect she is some sort of addict and needs to take a route similar to the one that Glenn Beck took back in the 1990’s.
