You say that its a management issue as if that’s a side/extraneous issue. The problem is ITS THE MAIN POINT. Did you read fr decelles? His sermons are brilliant, and I assure you he would agree with me as to what the problem is. It’s NOT an inability to get people in the door, it’s the lack of preaching inside those churches. Pick any sermon or fathers corner from the bulletins on that website. Clarence Thomas goes to that parish, I’m sure to hear fr decelles. He is an ANOMOLY, not remotely the norm.
The reluctance to preach sin isn’t peculiar to Catholics. My bro and SIL are baptist and even the evangelicals are soft pedaling sin.
OMG I just texted my nephew to as if there’s a mercy rule in college football?? Baylor needs to get up off the women of Monroe,LA !!
I knew that some liberal protestant churches were doing the feel-good thing-now it has spread to evangelicals? Maybe we are further into the end times than I thought...
No, the Pope said, its a longer term issue.
fater Netttles and Mon. tom, are just as conservative.
Maybe thats a coincedence, maybe its not,
The point is, calling everything Amchurch was an over generalization, since everything not Institue of Christ the King, or SSPX, is.
So if in your area or mine a few libs return, is that not a good thing?
Yes, I heard what Neo said.
And Archbishop Meyers replaced McCareick who was shuffled down to be an administrator in DC,
Amd then Pesided over Confirmation at St.Anthonys. A TLM breakaway.
As Archbishop of the Newark Diocese,

First two pics second row are Wolf. And the Archbishop was back the next 2 years. That’s the Archdiocese of effing NEWARK embracing a TLM church.
Gerrity and McCarrick were the two that stoned Father Wickens.
In the vestibule hangs an imprimatur from the Pope, regarding his ministry.
Meyers, moved to correct their sins. he came from Neos diocese.
Weber tells of the way large scale organizations change.
You cant turn the Queen Mary on a dime.
What the Pope did, was select the idea of New Institutionlaism, as described by Weber, to wit....isntitutions dont need just $$$ to survive they need to navigate amongst other institutions. (peer pressure). Considering they way his comments were spun, id say it was clever.
He pissed you off, you arent going to abstain from going.
But people who had abstained, might start.
Hardly, a left leaning act. And one that presupposes the current Popes statement.
Myers, presided, after a reconciliation of sorts.
I spent my day talking to crazy people and will do the same thing tomorrow. I didn’t expect to be that busy with the pretty weather we had this afternoon.
And BTW, for the first time in how many years we have states challenging abortion mills, wirh support.
(excepting our home states)
We are winning the battles. Amchurch not withstanding
In legislatures, in opinion. Why do you object, now, to recruiting more soldiers.
In this context, that is a zero sum game.
We get one, they lose one.
You dont get enough of fhat here?
The more i ruminate on it, the more brilliant it is.
Considered in Webers context, (institutional peer pressure) its Chris Stein writ large.
Chris Stein was the player in and husband of Blondie, who remarked in the 70s that manipulating the media was the hippest thing you could do.
They were bg/gf, my bad.
Your arguments are circuitous and totally nonresponsive. More soldiers fine. I’m skeptical. The Pope didnt piss me off, he disappointed me. And I’m not convinced of his true orientation. Reserving judgment, but skeptical.
Rainy day here, which was kind of nice for a change.
Yes but they are willing to pay me for it. ;)
Haha - yeah I didn’t get to watch that game but baylor is kicking it again this year!
I was looking for a Chevy, and you gave me the Dodge ; )
Lmao.
