Yes, I remember listening to that through a set of good headphones - just amazing. Knopfler tends to favor the out-solo; his songs are mostly storytelling, followed by several minutes of astonishing guitar work. Speedway at Nazareth features another great solo; I think Mark's talent continues to improve.
100% agree about Speedway at Nazareth - it’s one of my favorite driving songs. Except, I often end up running 40+ mph over the speed limit while I’m listening to it.
It is a seriously DANGEROUS song to listen to through headphones inside a full-face helmet while piloting a good handling bike down a twisty mountain road.
