so yes, the check tire pressure light coming on in the rental car this AM did portend a challenging day for me today! i have this rental bc my new 3 week old highlander is in the shop bc some ridiculous snot of a woman HIT it when it was a week old. So her insurance co. is paying for the repair and for a rental car for me. The rental car had the check tire pressure light come on this AM as i was dropping xsbaby at school. i have NO idea how to check tire pressure, but also didn’t know if it was safe to ignore that msg from the car or not. so i stopped at a gas station and asked if someone could help me, a nice young man standing behind me said he could help me check it. he put some air in, the msg did not go away, but he said that the tires looked fine and one might have a slow leak but that i would not have it go flat in the garage while i was at work today, which was my fear. he was very sweet and i gave him $5 for his time. he looked like he could have been MS13, but he was very sweet to me.
Ignore the obnoxious check tire pressure lightl
I had a new car once. I was rear ended and needed a new bumper within the first month.
Did the system identify a tire as bad, or did you just check them all?
You really have no idea how to check tire pressure? I thought all Pittsburgh dads gave lessons on changing flat tires and such before teaching their kids how to drive.
My check tire pressure message is on all the time - obviously the computer is wrong but it bugs me anyway
