Either that lake attracts cars like a magnet or there was a serial killer dumping his victims there.

I looked at it on Google Earth and it seems pretty clear what might have happened , at least with the Camaro ... This is a reservoir and there is a highway #44 that runs straight along the eastern edge ... a perfect place to have discrete drag races .. my guess is he got hit hard and crashed into what looks like deep water on the eastern edge OR possibly got off the road and got airborne landing on the rear end.... it doesn’t look like a good fishing area , no natural cover for fish .. so the car could stay undiscovered for a long time..

The 1952 Chevy with the old driver.. best guess ... along the same hwy #44 there is a series of dirt roads on the left that go straight into the water at an outcropping only a half mile or so before you would have made a left turn onto highway #73... most likely an accident with entrapment.

the rear is horribly mangled. Impact with the water did not do that.

If I were an investigator assigned to the case, my first line of investigation would be to find if any of the local police cars had any front end body work done on them around the time these cars and bodies disappeared.........

For two cars with bodies found in a lake, one would think that a police investigation at the time of disappearance would have discovered, at the very least, tire tracks leading into the lake.......unless the cops were involved.

Just my thoughts......
