In 2000, Christina Hoff Sommers published The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism is Harming Our Young Men. Hoff Sommers was already known as a critic of late-20th-century feminism; her much-lauded and much-disparaged 1994 book Who Stole Feminism? had provoked charges that she was anti-women. In August, Hoff Sommers, now a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, updated and reissued her bestseller on boys with a new subtitle: How Misguided Policies Are Harming Our Young Men. Hoff Sommers makes the case that boys and girls are fundamentally differentand that ignoring the difference, in an effort to protect girls, amounts to a war against boys.

I have had two conversations in the last 24 hours with Mothers who are thinking of drugging their boys, because they can’t fit in at school.
Both Boys LOVE math, or did- and have failed math in school, leaving each child depressed and saying they are “stupid”.
Both Mothers agree that Common Core Math is insane, but they are thinking of drugging their children to conform to the standards.
War on Boys is winning.
I’m glad I was a boy when it was still permissible to be a boy. I was a high-strung, sometimes rowdy, often talkative boy: the exact kind of boy who’d surely be drugged today.
You are correct sir. It is not some misguided policy. I think it is a deliberate attempt, by man hating feminists, to destroy men. IMHO.
get your kids out of public school. get the tv out of your house.
Another reason for the Separation of School and State. BEEP!
I agree.
My youngest had the worst parent/teacher conference ever. She called him a failure and said that drugs were needed. I, of course, did not see it that way and we managed to get him through 6th grade without drugs and out of that school.
That Summer we sent him to Sylvan for evaluation, to make the story short Sylvan said he was pretty smart and had actually learned something. I told Sylvan that I wanted them to teach him how to study and to motivate him. The next 6 years (including) honors courses he did straight A.
Teachers, especially women can't seem to handle intelligent active boys.
Of course it’s deliberate against boys, but the real fault lay with either the Godless or galactically stupid parents.
Churches, admittedly, have been NO help on this front, but for the few who have schools attached.
Schools raise up or destroy a nation. Clearly we’ve opted out, left the home and the kids, and are entirely invested in work, to have “stuff”.
Thanks for the ping!
You have a point. I have no idea in an integrated classroom, for example, if non-Anglo little boys are subjected to every chapter and verse of the war on boys in the same manner and pattern.
I don't know either.
Raising Cain - the best documentary I have ever seen on what has been done to boys in America. This was aired in 2005, and it’s only gotten worse.

She’s the scheduled guest on C-Span2’s three-hour discussion/call-in show “In-Depth” the first Sunday in November or December, in forget which.....
Common Core Math is a travesty for boys and girls, as IMO is the typical PC reading list.
Yes, it’s a war on white, heterosexual, conservative, pro life, small government, pro constitution, Christian women as well.
>> Both Boys LOVE math, or did- and have failed math in school, leaving each child depressed and saying they are stupid.
A “stupidity” apparently inherited from their mothers; mothers that should have obviously aborted these “stupid” boys.
I have always been a big fan of boys. Feminism is a scourge on society. I talk to women about this issue all of the time, for many years. People are frightened to death to be on the outside of the popular group.
It is pure peer pressure. That is the entire reason for the popularity of the Democrats and progressive movement.
Wanting to be popular is what causes people to sacrifice their children- even the GOP has fallen into the trap, with their endorsements of Common Core.
It is the entire progressive movement. IMO
