Do it. My WRX just turned over 115,000 and I intend to run it until it drops. And that will be awhile. Probably the best car I've ever owned.
The old SVX had a 6-cylinder Boxer that is a thing of beauty. I have one garaged with 213,000 miles on it and the engine still sounds as sweet as the day I bought it. It's now a race to find parts before they get too expensive to restore.
Outback wagon has 89000 and the next step is having the wife drive it.
She thinks the outback a dog, reliable and go anywhere but a dog.
Think a Wrx may well attract her interests and easy to tow.
Just put on about 600 miles on one lane dirt roads in Yellowstone.
