GM is reVOLTing. Hold onto your wallet!
I think I’d bet on Ford who are producing natural gas fueled cars and trucks.
My guess is that GM has to continue “developing” its electric car technology in order to avoid having to recognize its loss on the Volt fiasco. That is,
so long as GM pretends that it is on the verge of bringing some new great electric technology to market, it can continue to capitalize the money it has thrown at the Volt project and defer booking the true expense of keeping its government masters happy.
