My ex-son-in-law was demoted more then he was promoted. He told his wife (my daughter) that he was going to shoot up his (Coast Guard) base.
She immediately reported it. Nothing was done.
That was about 3 yrs ago.
This past May, he was finally given the boot....he wasn’t allowed to re-enlist.
He moved with his parents in his home state but then moved back...lose the base.
His mother told my daughter that he’s in a bad way mentally.
He had given her a hand gun and when she left him, she took it with her. She was visiting with his parents and the father-in-law took it and gave it back to his son, so he has a gun.
To my knowledge, the CG did nothing...they probably dismissed it as a lie from an angry wife.
