Just a few months ago a reporter said “a group of Battleships” and I have no knowledge of the Navy other than a brother and friend that served- but I knew we have no Battleships much less a group of them that travel together...though that would be a sight to see...
I am sure it was a sight to see. Another passing of things that became obsolete, just as one day the Carrier Force will be obsolete. IMO that time has come already.
The Carrier force is a huge target for missiles, when sunk that Carrier will take 6,000 men and a gret number of planes down with it.
With Bombers that can fly around the world and drone planes carrying out attacks it will soon become a burden.
