Perhaps they learned from the monkey they sent into space and will this time make the effort to find two identical cats (one for launching and one for recovering).
I hate the Iranians, if I never hated them before. The cat will die of either a lack of oxygen or the capsule heating up. There is nothing scientific to be gained from this exercise in plain old cruelty. Poor cat.
