I believe this PDF has some interesting facts....

A 200-MHz 64-b dual-issue CMOS microprocessor - UC Davis ...

Fabrication is .75 micrometers.

Now this chip is 16.8 mm x 12.8 mm and thus is ...by my calculations 233.52 mm ^2 in area.

They go on to say that it contains 1.68 Million transistors.
