Correctly read...Drunk big guy on 8th Ave, causes armed morons to open fire, witnout provocation.

Check like the 4th pic down. A dozen cops.

Couldnt subdue an unarmed man.

Shot two bystanders.

And let me tell you right now...thats 10 million for each, conservatively... Thats the going rate in NY for someone that gets hit by falling tree limbs in the park,

And now...effed over by Skyler,Walt Jr., and the baby...the devolution is complete.

Does the ricin recovery wind up at Hanks funeral?

If the toilet was clogged, I might try with the metal snake I have. But this is the main sewer line under the house. He’s going in with the power tools.

I thought Walt, Jr acted like a pussy.

Still not sure why Walt would blab on the phone like he has in the past two weeks. My wife thought he might have been trying to lay down legal absolution for Skyler and talking like that on purpose last night. I can’t tell any more.

I agree - I can do lots of things around the house but unclogging toilets is not one of them!

Late to class today because it’s my birthday. Normally I abjure birthdays, but this is a biggie. One of my daughters sent the most beautiful flowers over the weekend, and I’m taking a Tres Leches cake to work as my “birthday treat” for the staff.

I didn’t bake it — I bought it at Cosco and it looks luscious. It has a caramel glaze over the top. I could not find anything like it among the hundreds of photos of Tres Leches on the Web. Several layers with filling between the layers.

So, I won’t be abjuring cake today. With our small staff, I figure that we’ll each get 2 pieces.

Very clever of me, don’t you think? Today is one of a couple of Mexican Independence Days, and I’m bringing a Mexican dessert!

http://www.food.com/recipe/tres-leches-cake-11619

From the recipe above: “Tres Leches Cake is a very moist cake filled with a mixture of “milks.” It is a favorite Mexican and South American Dessert. I got the recipe from Chela, my housekeeper who is from Mexico. The Cake preparation includes 3 parts: the cake, the filling, and the frosting.”

From what I read, the name comes from using milk in 3 different parts of the cake. Mine does not have fruit on it. Just the caramel glaze and a big, flaky piece of chocolate. It’s very pretty.

Reading the recipe the cake incorporates milk, cream, and condensed, sweetened milk. Thus! tres leches.

That is what I thought too.

the devolution is complete.

Well they didn't name the episode Ozymandias for nothing

"I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: `Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear --
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.'

I was so hoping Walt would come walking into the car wash while Marie was being all gloaty.

I was rooting for the Browns yesterday. Not fun. Every time something good happens (fumble recovery), something bad happens (big sack).

I’ve already given up on the Clowns.

Which sets a terrible precedent for future years when I want to watch football, but I just can’t suffer through that sh!&

I’m still curious about the divergence between NCAA and the NFL.

Is there just nobody in college that even tries to play defense any more?

The world is falling into
Sheer chaos and insanity-
I’m not the only one I know
Looking to sell and flee

Further into the hinterlands
As the mob begins to squall
When their keepers abjure them
As if they’re nothing at all

They only have their uses
While there is money to throw-
If the trough is dry then no one
Cares where they eat or go

There is rain predicted and no work today-probably just as well, my back is still locking up enough to make sudden movement inadvisable...
