obviously a vanity.
Come back and help us boot these bastards out.....Thanks for your service....being a former Marine I welcome you back brother.
I have big hopes for the 2014 midterm elections.
God is still in Charge and things will get a LOT Better
Mother died at 100 in 2008. Whenever I got down, she always reminded me that when the pendulum swings too far in one direction, it does likewise in the other and will always settle in the middle. Don’t give up, continue to fight in whatever way you can. There is hope!
I’d guess what you’re expressing is an exhaustion concerning the never ending attacks against culture, guns, and freedom. You’re probably tired of the incipient political correctness that causes everybody who is white to self-monitor everything you say for fear you’ll offend someone who will sue you, attack you, or just shoot you. It seems as though when one attack is defeated (like in the Colorado recall) ten more take place.
Well, liberals are like the Energizer bunny. they will never give up. On the other hand, we are overexposed to trivial and inconsequential attacks that will never amount to a hill of beans. It’s hard to separate those from the ones that threaten all of society.
I’d prescribe a rest from FR. Turn off the TV. Pack the family and take a vacation. Don’t read a newspaper. (Does anybody still read the newspaper?) Get a kindle and read a book. (Oh, here’s a few books!)
It’s pretty easy to be discouraged when you see the things we are seeing every day. Just remember, politicians are not really representative of the people and the things the media chooses to concentrate on is not what is going on with the average everyday American. It will get better when we can finally boot out the current media and replace them with real people who actually have hearts and souls.
See my tagline.
Welcome Home, Brother.
It needs a lot of work.
You must be one of those sunshine patriots. We don’t need them.
He has preserved you and brought you to the perplexing and disturbing place where you find yourself, for a reason. It may not be apparent - of course it is not apparent -- but you are part of a much, much bigger story. Dimensions you cannot fathom.
I'm talkin' about BIG.
After going toe-to-toe with the NVA in Vietnam, you’re worried about having to deal with the passive aggressive liberal wimps stateside? I think you have nothing to worry about.
I want you to know that I understand what you are saying. I am a generation behind, and most likely haven’t seen a fraction of the shit you have you, but feel similarly “tired”. I find as every day passes I am becoming more and more like my old man was in his middle age... intolerant.
I know other people have chimed in with ideas to “take your mind off things”... the only suggestion I can give... and I do so in full consideration that this advise is what I will need to give myself in the future, Hell, I may as well listen to my own advice now... is be “available” to others.
Everyone has a mother and father and a story... while some people are simply not worth the time of day there are many others that can gain from your story.
Don’t feel isolated and alone in your “malaise”. It does get worse before it gets better.
You sound old and cranky
Sorry but speak up about what is wrong with America.
We need to keep and grow AMERICAN production.
For the entire last generation, we have sent American production elsewhere.
Largely to China.
BRING IT BACK. Now.
Keep the faith, keep resisting, keep praying.
Semper Fi!
this is a vanity thread, right?
"To the last plane...
To the last bullet...
To the last minute...
To the last man..."
"We fight... We fight...
We fight... We fight..."
***********
Americans never give up the fight for our God-given liberty...
This is our country...
... the country of a sovereign people!
Even the useful idiots are tiring of the lies, deceit, corruption and waste...
We will take America back...
Pray...
Believe...
Speak...
Write...
Man up...
Make the effort...
AND...
Get into the arena of ideas:
Contend for what is rightfully ours...
NEVER GIVE UP!
We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail, against enemies foreign and domestic.
Thanks for your service, Tainan.

I moved back to the USA from Taiwan in 1980 after 4 years there. I lived in Taipei, Peitou, and Tianmou, but traveled down south quite a bit. I went to your home page and enjoyed your market photos - really brought back memories. Best of luck, and may God go with you, Tainan!
