How can you say that "conservatives and tea party" could lead the charge"

Most of this is directly attributable to conservatives/GOP.

The GOP has been the law and order party that has consistently used crime as a political wedge issue.

A Republican started the war on drugs. A republican was the first prez to give military hardware to law enforcement. A republican prez was the first to give DHS grants to law enforcement. The GOP has promoted gun ownership and because there are more guns law enforcement feels safer with military type raids.

Most GOPers say that these botched raids are not really a problem, that they are relatively small percentage of the total raids/dynamic entries. The only difference is that thru the years and decades, the number of swat teams and swat raids have increased.

So then we need newer waves of constitutional conservatives/libertarians who will lead the new charge and represent a new breed of conservatism in general. We have some of them here who are representing this movement right here oN FR and fighting an honorable and often lonely battle. Maybe some of them can come in here and share their thoughts with you on this matter too.

To those that were pinged, I figured you might be interested in this discussion and sharing more insight on the need for this new constitutional conservatism movement in general. If you would prefer not to join, that is fine but I figured it would be nice to here from some resident conservative-libertarian warriors around here.
