I remember when South Park debuted and I thought for sure it was nothing but trash. I studiously ignored it for a year or two, then I was at a party and it was on and I had to admit it was absolutely hilarious and clearly on the correct side of the ideological divide. I’ve appreciated it ever since.

Therefore I say, Viva South Park!

Its a documentary of one week watching a show being made- it is the funniest thing.

The first episode of this new coming season will be based on Zimmerman and Trayvon. Will be interesting their take on it.

The first few seasons were downright brilliant (Scuzzlebutt, Mecha-Streisand, etc.), but somewhere around the introduction of Mr. Hanky and Mr. Garrison having a sex change, South Park became just another Generation X gross-out show. Nothing clever at all, just sick. Hopefully Parker and Stone have gotten back in touch with what made them so funny in the beginning.
