A Saudi woman who married a man thinking he was Saudi discovered he is Yemeni 18 years after their marriage.
Jawahir said the man proposed to her 18 years ago and she accepted him as a husband after he produced false documents showing he was a Saudi citizen.
When their two sons and one daughter went to the secondary school, they were asked to bring their father’s national identity number.
“Only then I found that the man with whom I spent 18 years as a wife was not Saudi. I discovered that he had used a fake ID when he married me. When I found out about him, he just fled home and disappeared,” she said.
There should be a BS meter on this article. OK, the woman lives with this man for 18 years, has children and raises a family. One day it becomes known he is in the US under a false name and he splits without giving her any forwarding address.
Did someone check under the bed or in closet?
