And the thing that grieves me is that there’s absolutely no sense of how this [misconduct] affects other ministers and churches.” While Presbyterians, Methodists and other Protestant denominations have “spelled-out” obligations for ministerial ethics, Baptist clergy lack a code of ethics to which they can be held accountable.
