A man from Peoria who wrote a song to honor his late wife breaks into the Top 10 on iTunes.
Fred Stobaugh, 96, says the lyrics for Oh Sweet Lorraine just came to him one night about six weeks after his wife passed away.
He submitted them for a song-writing contest.
Fred didnt win, but producers decided to record the song for free.
It made it all the way to number 7 on iTunes last Friday.
Its at number-39 this morning and has been downloaded more than 6,000 times.
